Front Desk Check-in

Secure your facility and track attendance with BookCourts' built-in access control system. Players can check in rapidly using their unique QR codes generated inside the mobile app.

USB HID Scanner Integration

For high-traffic clubs, deploying a dedicated barcode scanning gun at the front desk is the fastest method to clear lines.

1. Plug any standard 2D USB Barcode/QR Scanner into your front desk computer. Windows or Mac will automatically mount it as a HID (Human Interface Device) keyboard.
2. From the Club Admin Dashboard, navigate to the Front Desk tab.
3. Ensure that your cursor is clicked and resting inside the "Scan ID Field" input box.
4. When a user presents their BookCourts App QR code, trigger the scanner. The scanner will automatically input the data string and hit `ENTER`.
5. The system will instantly validate the token. The screen will flash Green for approved entry, or Red if the membership is unpaid/expired!

Web Camera / Tablet Check-in

If you prefer a self-service check-in kiosk (a mounted iPad or laptop) instead of a physical scanner gun, you can use the device's built-in camera to accomplish the exact same workflow.

• On the Front Desk page, click the Launch Camera Scanner button.
• Your browser will ask for permission to access the camera constraint. Click Allow.
• Aim the device camera down. When a user holds their phone QR code underneath the lens, the software will automatically capture and submit the validation request in real-time.
